Cybersecurity Risks and Defenses for the Energy Sector

March 7th 15:45-18:00 Google Campus TLV

We are learning every day on new techniques and variants of malware which are capable bypassing traditional cyber defenses. The number and severity of these incidents are growing because today’s attackers are financed by hostile countries and crime organization which are interested causing outage, interrupt the peaceful life of people and damaging production machinery.

Operators of critical infrastructure using SCADA, ICS, DCS, DMS, EMS and IoT technologies must be aware of threat to business operation. Therefore, managers and vendors must act with greater determination, allocate budgets and technology wisdom to be always ahead of the attackers.

Our Meetup event will include 3 sessions on cyber risks and solutions applicable for Industrial Control and IoT systems serving the Energy sector.

Daniel Ehrenreich, SCCE- Cyber security risks for the energy sector (EMS, DMS, etc.)
Dana Tamir, Indegy – Cyber security defense matching the energy sector
Ilan Alter, AlterNet – Cyber security aspects for IoT applicable for the energy sector
